In the series »Found Drawings« movements are imprinted onto the landscape, capturing a narrative in an abstract pattern, which can be translated into a mathematical equation.

Different stories have happened, people running up the dunes (»How to Runup«), wind arranging the sand around a small bamboo stick, almost mirroring the shape of it (»Move #1«), and in »Encounter (Photographer, Calidris, Food, Wave)« we see the result of a delicate constellation between calidris birds foraging, sea waves and the photographer. The wave approaches the beach and retrieves, the calidris run to the spot, start picking for food. The photographer fathoms the perfect distance, in which the birds allow pers present, without flying away, and at the same time close enough in order to capture the picking and walking traces before the follow up wave washes away the pattern.

As extension to the drawings, the relation and encounter of the participants are, in collaboration with the coder Catalina Rojas Ugarte, translated into an algorithm, questioning the relation and proximity of the physical and virtual worlds (work in progress).
