Part III of a trilogy (part I »Dad Dracula is Dead«, part II »A Crime must be Committed«)
Completing the trilogy with the video »Home Time Show Time«, the cast stays mostly the same like in the first two films. »Home Time Show Time« takes place in a room, which recurrently changes its function and appearance. At first friends watch TV, they zap through different kinds of TV formats and chat about it. In the next scene the windows are replaced by screens, the light changed and the living room turned into the fictive talk show TeleMilano. Two of the previously shown actors take over the role of the talk show guests. A third mimes the media mogul Silvio Berlusconi as the talk show host. Topics amongst others are the shooting of »Dad Dracula is Dead« and »A crime must be Committed«. The pleasing interview gets repeatedly interrupted by one of the guests, which comments critically on the influence of big media companies. Following two further rounds of talks, in each case with a different cast of the talks show host, once as Rupert Murdoch and another time as Donald Trump. Talk show and living room share conformity in architecture, furnishings and cast. During the video these rooms entangle more and more, also the show plays on the TV in the living room. Towards the end a host enters the living room and unmasked the cosy circle of friends as a cast of a reality TV show. Once the alleged friends get voted in or out, one leaves desperately the frame: “I’ve no problem leaving, but I live here. This is my fucking home! What do you want from me?”
