Defcom 7 Clutch Kit

The KWI Defcom 7 Clutch Kit is the ultimate performance clutch upgrade for Can-Am models equipped with the PDrive primary — engineered to eliminate factory clutch inefficiencies, improve power transfer, and keep belt temperatures under control whether you're running stock power or pushing into tuned and turbocharged builds. From job-site work to dirt drags, the Defcom 7 adapts to your machine and riding style with real tuning flexibility built in.

The Defcom 7 is available in two configurations. The Defcom 7 Base includes 3 KWI adjustable weights and a precision-tuned primary spring — calibrated for Defender HD7, HD8, HD9, HD10, and 2026 HD11 (stock power), Commander 700, and the Can-Am X3 135hp Turbo R. It smooths out engagement, reduces belt slip, improves throttle response, and extends belt life across every terrain and riding condition.

The Defcom 7 Pro builds on the Base kit with the addition of the DR3 Groovix Helix and a Black/Green Secondary Spring — purpose-built for tuned Defender HD11 and Can-Am X3 135hp Turbo R builds running stock or tuned power. The DR3 Groovix adds aggressive backshifting, superior belt grip, and active cooling performance, while the secondary spring delivers precise clutch control under higher horsepower demands. More power, more heat, more abuse — the Pro is built to handle all of it.

Important: If you're not looking for higher RPMs, aggressive performance, or top-speed gains — and prefer smoother engagement and lower-RPM drivability for work, towing, or trail cruising — the AO-P1 Cruiser Kit is a better fit for your setup.
